The British Quilt Study Group (BQSG) was founded in 1998 by The Quilters' Guild of the British Isles. Its aims are to encourage the continuing documentation and study of the British quilt tradition. It brings together textile and quilt scholars and academics, and others with an interest in the history of British quilts.
Full details of BQSG activities and membership can be found on The Quilters’ Guild website. (http://www.quiltersguild.org.uk) Look under Special Interest Groups.
